i bought a 07 chev malibui with 35321 ( approx), after a week of driving, i discovered that there was a heavy pulsation in the brakes at high speeds which causes the brakes to perform poorly with a hard stop. I took the car -8-9 times over 8 months and they machined and refinished them under warranty and under 120.00 brake service job. Later they gave me new rotors under warranty with the same shoe pads. The other day i brought the car back for the same problem ,and at the end of the day, the service manager tells me that the tires were the cause ( this is not possible, because if it was i would be on a rough ride instead of a smoother ride. The service manager gave me an estimate of 200.00 per michelin tire and said that it would solve the problem. . i took the car to different dealerships, including the tire manufacturer and they all told me that the brakes were bad. so i took the car back to the service manager, i told him again, he refused and started acting rudely, not admitting
i got the tire rotation done by GM under warranty, and yes they did put in new rotors but with the same shoe pads and drums

When I moved to an independent, after a year or two, he said I needed new rotors. I gave him my (what the dealer called) 100% worn out rotors, an he measured them. When I told him the dealer only turned them twice, he said that that means they took off about twice what they should have, that they’ve got maybe another two turnings on them till threy’re down to ??mm thickness.
