I f you want it to run good find a 289 and swap in the overdrive. It will be good on gas and you will not have to worry about gassing yourself to death with propane fumes and killing yourself and/or someone else. The propane fork lift motor will be a dog in your mustang. It is built for pulling heavy loads. Low on horse power and high on torque. It will pull the car around but there will be no top end. The way it is cammed it will flatten out around 60 miles per hr depending on you gears you might get 65 or 70 miles per hr with it. Sorry’ Bad idea. not worth the money.
