How hard is it to switch from automatic to a stick?
I’m building a rock crawler/ mud bogger. I want to switch a 1988 ford f-150 from automatic to a stick shift 4 or 5 speed. Is it really hard to convert one? I was thinking about trying to do it myself, I enjoy mechanicing but would it be too hard to do this?

it would take quite a bit of work. you would have to install the clutch pedal and get shifter linkage cables and adjust the clutch pedal not to mention the new tranny and flywheel. but if you like workin on cars it shouldnt be too bad
