i guess you could replace the seal with the motor in the bus. but i would take the motor out. if it’s in the bus and you get started on it and after banging your knuckles a few times you’ll wish you pulled the motor. there is actually 4 bolts that hold the motor in. plus if you pull the motor you can check other things while you have it out. like the clutch, rear main engine seal, spark plugs, trans seal and you can clean and detail the motor while it’s out. it would be a good learing experience and you can brag about it to your friends that you did it. good luck.
