My problem is It runs like a “Bat out of H_LL” untill I shift to 4th gear!. Then I slowly lose speed and must shift back to 3rd. The Chilton says the timming must be set to 5 degrees AFTDC! Well, it is a rail so I do not have vacum advance, I have thee (natorious Bosch .009 Dist) The cam has been changed to an ENGLE cam? Which model I have no idea, can’t even swear it has been changed? FACTS: It is a 1600, I put dual carbs on it, one on each side, (40MM) I have set timing at 0 @ TDC, 7.5 BTDC. Neither has worked, still lose speed when I shift to 4th? Can ANYONE tell me what is up??
