When people talk about being too heavy to ride a certain bike, they are mostly talking about suspension travel first, and top speed to follow. If the bike is set up for two people, then you need to hit about 400 pounds before you have a problem with the suspension. And naturally, and 250cc anything will carry a 150 pound rider faster, and quicker to a higher top speed, than someone who is 70 pounds heavier.
