If you like your engine do not start it on ether!!!
This will ruin your engine if there is no fuel to start the ignition.
Here is the procedure to bleed the system.
Fill all the filters with fuel, then install them.
Check for a manual primer pump. Most have one to manually pump the fuel up to the filters. If it has one, pump it until the fuel comes out the bleeder at the fuel filters. Keep pumping until fuel comes out the return hose on top of the injection pump.
Loosen the lines at the injectors.
Spin the engine and check for fuel leaking out the lines.
When all three are leaking, tighten the lines and start the engine.
PS If there is no primer pump, try putting 5 to 10 psi air in the fuel tank. This will allow you to bleed the system as well as see any leaks in the lines that could suck air.
Also it may pay to check for battery power at the pump shut off solenoid.
